Samsung finally unveiled Galaxy S III smartphone

Samsung has finally unveiled their most rumored and expected Galaxy S III smartphone on Thursday in london after months of speculation.It is equipped with great touchscreen and very speedy quad-core processor. It’s also declared as the official smartphone of the 2012 Olympic Games as rumored.

The Galaxy S III has focused more on the concept rather than the spec.And that's why the smartphone has the ability to predict your next action which is definitely missing  in the HTC One X and Apple’s iPhone 4S. That makes the smartphone different among all the smartphones.There is a new feature called Smart Stay in the smartphone that uses eye-tracking technology to put the phone to sleep and wake it up again as needed. Samsung confirmed you'll not face any more screen dimming in the middle of reading a long email when you look away the phone will go to sleep mode.

There are more interesting and new features in Samsung Galaxy S III. "Direct Call" feature enables you to make a phone call automatically whom you’re text messaging. As an example at the time of writing text if you lift the phone to your ear, you will then see this feature's supiriority. Another feature called S Voice, makes you able to use your voice to do a phone call, search the web and start the camera. The Samsung Galaxy S III is also powered by Pop Up Play feature that gives you the scope to switch the full-screen video to a smaller pop-up window so that you can continue watching the movie while texting, browsing or using other apps. Facial recognition technology feature offering you to identify people in photos and links to your friends pages on Twitter and Facebook automatically.

The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which is skinned in TouchWiz user interface. The aesthetic touches and the curved plastic body of the smartphone are “inspired by nature",Samsung says. Currently the company is marketing the smartphone in two colors “Pebble Blue” and “Marble White". The Galaxy S III is equipped with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display having 1280×720 resolution. The device is also powered by a very fast 1.4GHz quad-core processor. You can have a great photo session with its 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and a web conversation with 1.9MP front-facing camera. The phone has a great 2100mAh removable battery.

The price of the device is still undeclared.  But the Samsung officials confirmed the 3G version of the Galaxy S III will be available in Europe within May and later across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Samsung confirms the S III will run on 4G LTE networks in U.S. and for that all U.S. citizens have to wait till later this summer.
